The first picture is my grandpa. What i like about this picture is although there is a lot going, you can still pick out the subject, which is my grandpa. Also, his facial expression gives the viewer a feeling of happiness. I would have liked to change the background. I think with a simpler background, the picture would be much stronger. The second picture is me holding a glass of water. The lighting of the background and the bubbles in the glass are what i like about this picture. I think what really makes this picture so interesting is how the lens is so focused on my hand, yet the background is very blurry and out of focus. I am extremely happy with this picture, which is why i wouldn’t change anything about it. What i like about the third pictures is the lighting and the lines that the lamp shade create. I would maybe add more subjects to focus on because i think that would give the picture more substance.

these three photos are a mesh of different times and events. the first is at my little cousins birthday where she looks very happy. i really like the posture she has in the picture. the second is of my friend gilbert at his house in oracle. l like this photo because of the expression on his face and the posture he is holding . the third is of a huge apartment complex burning in Phoenix on a day trip me and my friends took there. i like this photo but with i would have been closer to it and had better lighting but i also like that you cant see where the smoke is coming from so it adds mystery.

•May 13, 2008 • Leave a CommentAll three pictures are of my friends, jess (1), gilbert (2) and andrew (3). What i like about all three of these pictures is they are all very simple. Each picture has one person as the subject. I like the first one because jess looks troubled. In the second one, gilbert looks happy and in the third one andrew looks content. What i would change about the first one is the lighting. I would make it a little lighter so jess’s skin and the wall isn’t so close in color. In the second one, i would make sure to exclude the window in the top left corner. In the third one, i would make sure all of the background was black because the white corner is distracting. Also, i would make it more centered.

•May 13, 2008 • Leave a Commentthese three photos are of my friends, what a surprise. the first two were take at jess’s apartment with his sister and him sitting on his bed. i like this picture because of it s mystery and tone but wish it wasn’t so blurry. the second i like because of how close up it is and you can see jess’s hair features. i wish you could see the top of his head though. the third was in a parking lot on the way to flagstaff on a trip and i like the faces captured in the photos. i wish the lighting was better though so the picture was more balanced and wasn’t so dark. this would add alot to the photo.

•May 13, 2008 • Leave a Commentthese three photos were taken on a trip to mount lemmon as well as one of my other posts. i like the first one because it shows four friends having a good time. i wish i would’ve been closer in this photo to them to able to see there faces but at the same time i like the background in it. the second is charming only because of the facial and what Andrew is doing to jess. i wouldn’t change anything about this photo. the third is oj jess’s girlfriend lea taking his shoes off. i like the angle and angles in this photo. i would only change the lighting in it .

•May 13, 2008 • Leave a CommentThese three photographs are from my grandmas house and the one of the donkey is from a neighbors of my friends. i like the first one because of the angle over her shoulder. the second i like because of the look the donkey is giving you. The third i like because of my grandmas expression and also the background. the only picture i would change is the last one and make it so she wasn’t so white and the picture was more balanced.

•May 13, 2008 • Leave a CommentThese three photos were taken on the same day. the second and third are at my house. the first was taken when I was driving around with a friend. i like the first because it is so spur of the moment and this man looks happy. the second i like because they all look so happy and the there is a fore, middle and background. the third i like because they also look happy. the only thing i would change about this one is the angle at which i took so the glare from the glass behind it wouldn’t show.

•May 13, 2008 • Leave a CommentIn these three pictures are my friends jess (1 and 3) and tyler (2). What I like most about these pictures is the lighting and the subject’s facial expressions. The lighting is different in all three which initially gives each one a new feeling. Although Jess’s facial expressions are generally the same in the the first and third pictures, the lighting makes each one unique. In the second picture I like how the lighting makes tyler seem mysterious. The overall picture, however is too dark and if I could i’d change that. In the third picture, though there is alot going on I don’t feel like it is too cluttered. I really like Jess’s body language as well. Overall I am happy with the outcome of all three pictures.
