Hello my name is Adam, I am from here, here being Tucson Arizona born and raised. This year I am a senior and plan to go to NAU next year. My favorite artist would probably have to be Diane Arbus or Salvador Dali.

`           As far as what art I like and inspires me is music, cinematography, photographers, writers, and traditional artists such as painters and drawers. The only art form I haven’t really explored is acting. The art I like the most is music and photographers. I like them the most because I feel that they are more endless art forms than others meaning that you can do many different things with them and keep discovering new things in them. As I am taking a picture or playing guitar it changes day to day what I am focusing on, my main focus is being satisfied with it and not rushing something. When I personally am creating art I don’t really have an audience, I guess mainly myself because I am doing it for myself but if someone else likes it that’s cool too.  

            The benefits I could reap from this class are very broad; I think it would be cool to someday get a job in a film lab developing even though we don’t deal with that in this class. I could see myself trying to get hired at a studio to take pictures for people or maybe just freelance stuff. Right now it is just a hobby and I am fine with that. The knowledge I develop from this class will probably be applied later in my life for more personal use when I am shooting alone, it could also be used when I start making invitations for my graduation. In today’s society I feel it is important to know how to read and take photographs because I feel much of the focus on photography has gone commercial and advertising so it important to realize that its not just used for that and that it can still have meaning.
